Fabric Description
Buff fabric with grayish core, dense white and dark inclusions and buff slip. Slightly lopsided rim, possibly during the firing process.

Description
Large deep krater, piriform body and two vertical strap handles (missing). Flat everted rim, splaying foot, ring base.

Decoration
Decorated with a frieze of six stemmed spirals on one side and circles filled with a cross in between. A similar frieze decorates the other side; a semicircle is painted under each handle. The interior and exterior rim and the foot are painted solid and encircling bands decorate the body and lower part of the vessel, in reddish to dark brown paint.

Comments
Possibility of an incised Cypro-Minoan sign on one of the handles (possibly before firing?).
